Grill @ Your Own Risk

Last nights dinner, Feta-Stuffed Burgers, happened.  You know like dinner happened and we ate what I said we were going to eat.  If you want the recipe, it will be available shortly.

Was it good - the jury is out on that one.

I realized 2 things last night.

1) Men should be the grillers of the household.

2) When grilling, one should not choose items that are high in fat content (and if you do - just be better prepared).

I set a grease fire last night.  Yep.  Full out, propane and burners are off, grease fire that wouldn't go out.  We sat there and watched the fire continue as the burgers just began to char themselves to a black burnt crust.

Finally, we were able to remove the burgers and smothered out the fire.  One problem: the burgers were STILL not cooked through.

Thankfully we had sweet potato fries and I just stuck the burgers in the oven for 5 minutes @ 400F and they finished up cooking.

I guess some people like the char-grilled taste, heavy on the char.  Me - not so much.

One things for certain.  I will NOT be grilling again any time soon.
